During my teens i played too much of Lineage2, and then one day discovered fan-made server emulator written in java. That switched on my tinkering spirit. Soon after started learning c++ while experimenting with #irrlicht. Anything-games stuck with me ever since. Noone is paying me for doing these things (yet). I hope contributions to #opensource game engines count as "being #gamedev".
