My Dinner With Andre time again. As usual, Wallace Shawn comes off as the hideous one given his attitudes. Almost missed writing notes down since woke late/needed sleep + was still eating at the start.

I was watching "My Dinner with Andre", and while it certainly is an interesting film with a lot of blabbing from someone who has clearly done a lot of psychedelics. There are these little moments between the 'noise' with some very profound dialogue.

This clip in particular resonated with me as I have been on a bit of a journey of self discovery myself.

I watched this as a teenager in the 80s and didn't get it. Just two guys talking at dinner? Watched it recently and it was mesmerizing. And relevant. How to deal with the alienation our society produces? Wally and Andre both make some valid observations.
