I have blood cancer and my friend has blood cancer. A few weeks ago, she learned her husband has one of the cancers in our family of cancers. They are not related, they're married. It isn't contagious. Yet they both have a myeloproliferative neoplasm.

He died today. None of us would wish these cancers on anyone but especially not on our most beloved ones. :blobcatSad:
