Daughter suggested we try Lebanese zaatar manakeesh. Thanks to my sister in law for picking up a pot of spice in Waitrose - we don't have a Waitrose here, and couldn't find zaatar locally. I economised on spice level as it was our first go. Only after this did I think to search for on online supermarket for middle Eastern food! Now ordered more zaatar + a strange assortment of jams and biscuits + houmous in a tin can. #MyJam #Lebanese

Sunday Music Selection: A few days ago I listened to the Broken Record podcast. Rick Rubin was interviewing Graham Nash (Part 1 and Part 2). Toward the end of Part 2 Rubin asked Nash about Just a Song Before I Go. Nash was in Hawaii and said he was bet $500 that he couldn't write a song before he was supposed to leave the next morning. This is the song he wrote; it is such a fine example of the incomparable vocals that were CS&N.
