I didn't hit the snooze alarm or set the clock for another hour. I got up, fed the Boo Thang his treats, and started cleaning our disgusting kitchen. Brewed some coffee & filled 3 bags of trash to go out when I come home this afternoon. Going to try to get something done every day!

Just had a very strange conversation in the potty. I was in a stall, doing my thing, and I heard a cheerful voice say "hi, Mickey!" Um, hi. (Checking to make sure my door IS closed) There was a giggle, followed by "I figured it was you- you're the only person I know with tie dyed tennis shoes!" Ok, she could see my feet. I have no idea who it was, but I'm glad I brightened their day.

#Today is cold & rainy, but at least it's not snowing. The office is slowly losing its collective mind as we try working the new computer system. We keep being told "oh, that'll be fixed in the live version." Great, but unless it works in the beta, we don't know what to enter & where. At least I have a job & crappy benefits.

#Today, I am in pain. Thanks to my mother's negligence & idiocy, I wound up doing 6 hours of cleaning/moving things AFTER working yesterday. I had a Snickers bar for dinner, followed with a painkiller chaser at bedtime.

Everything hurts (more painkillers, yay) and I had to come in to work anyway because I used all my sick & vac time dealing with Mom's issues over the last month.

But I got muffins for breakfast!

...Got signed in and had to answer an email explaining why I took my laptop home (to watch a training module) and was told that I had to put in for V time or stay over to make up the 30 minutes I was gone. I was just going to take a short lunch, but whatever. Did my work & training, now I'm going home to deal with Mom & the cat.

My office is technically closed to the public today, but I'm still going in. I didn't want to use my pitiful amount of vacation time to stay home. At least I'll be the only one there in my unit & can be as grumpy as I want to.

Anyway, I have Chinese pork & eggplant for dinner (when the slug stops blowing her nose & hacking up a lung) and a Boo Kitteh to cuddle AND I can go back to bed. So it's not all awful.

#today I feel like I've been hit by a truck. Yesterday, the office received a death threat, our scheduled 5 hour turnaround up only taking 30 minutes, and a coworker had to be taken out on a stretcher because he was having chest pain & trouble breathing. (Turns out he suffered 2 broken ribs when he fell last week & the Dr then missed them) And Mom called to tell me she fell, so I had leave & get her to the ER. She's ok too, but my stress is off the chart.

Well, it's morning. #Today we're having a 5 hour training session on reports we already know how to write/enter into the system. The class is being taught by a woman who spends most of her time taking cute selfies & tottering around in ridiculously high heeled shoes. I'm not sure if this is going to be better or worse than my usual shift at the public service window.

And, thanks to Mom stressing me out, all of my autoimmune symptoms are flaring again. Ugh.

#today I received a "hi, number neighbor" text and a dick pic. After laughing hysterically at it, I walked over the the Cybercrime unit and asked I should report it to them or SexCrimes. (I'm a police civilian, don't hold that against me) After THEY stopped laughing, they said they'd handle it.
