As the days are getting longer, the light is changing. The views to the east on my walk this afternoon were particularly striking. On the left is a house that is well situated to attract the light during the golden hour. On the right is a view of Sleeping Giant State Park (well, the Giant, anyway; there's more to the park). Both photos are fronted by agricultural land, a Christmas tree farm on the left and parts of the ag experiment station on the right. #sunset #SleepingGiant #MyNeighborhood

The other day, I took a picture of a house on a hilltop glowing in the late afternoon sun. I tried to take another picture of that house today and, well, I just couldn't.

I'd been resigned to not getting a walk in, but, not raining, so I just came back from a quich half-hour walk in the neighborhood. It's still gray and grim out, aside from the various decorations, some tasteful and some, well, the less said the better. #MyNeighborhood #RainyDay #SliceOfLife
