In the Japanese version, Satsuki (the older sister) scolds Mei. In the English version, Satsuki blames herself. The greatest example in my mind though, is what the Americans did to Cardcaptor Sakura...

716 followers · 1047 posts · Server ngmx.comI also like most of the Disney and Pixar stuff, but I had to give a single recommendation, it would be Hayao Miyazaki's work with Studio Ghibli. Like, you can raise your kids with this. Start with 'My Neighbour Totoro', and expand from there.
Avoid 'Grave of the Fireflies' until you're an adult, and ready for it, as it is a very impactful work. I have only watched it once, and once was enough.
