I have a lot more to say about it particularly the 3 paths which will all have their own articles. Additionally from this I am working on a framework for alchemy that stems from it.

It's quite a bit more prosaic on my part, but I'm reminded that the words "mystic" and "mystery" and "mute" are related to one another, and are most likely tied to an original Greek word (*myein*) which had meant "to close" and became associated with the eyes closed to what we cannot conceptualize, and the mouth closed to what we cannot put into words.

(And for much of Western history, the word "mystical" meant "hidden.")

As a follow-on to the post I offered last night regarding the term #mysticism, this is from some writing I'm doing:

i was explaining to my partner the ways in which i was reconciling #qabalah with my #neopaganism (specifically in the context of a poem i sort of channeled a few months back) and they said they were scared that i was trying to unravel the secrets of the universe

which, its valid for them to be worried that im not properly grounded at this time and that i might need reminders that my personal spiritual experience isnt all there is

but also, way to phrase that in a way that only makes me want to delve deeper into the arcane mysteries
