In tonight's session of #ScarletHeroes the party began exploring a large demonic temple built by beastmen.

I decided the beastmen in my world would be like the Taheen from Stephen King's Dark Tower books, so for each one I used a random animal generator website, which gave some funny results.

While I take a break on my Starforged campaing, I have started a mini adventure with Cairn rules with the Mythic GME 2ed procedures.

Our intrepid adventurer, Kalista, after escaping the clutches of nasty Gnaeus, has found herself in the small town of Barat where some sort of event is taking place. At The Copper Lantern pub she finds several parties of adventurers / travellers who are clearly gathering for some unknown reason. Why are they all here? And who is this super friendly chap Nicholas of Wilton who just plonked himself down at her table? Excitingly, I have no idea!

Well!! Gnaeus the travelling trader turned out to be a bad, bad person. After an unfortunate run of dice luck and a GM intrusion, Kalista found herself trussed up under a carpet in his wagon, on the way to goodness knows where!! Fortunately fate smiled on her and she managed to free herself, escape his clutches and run into the nearby forest. I still have no idea what he was after but she's best out of there... Hopefully that's the last she'll see of him!

Finally finished a #SoloRPG #TTRPG session report for my play around with the #CitiesWithoutNumber beta and new edition of #MythicGME.

It's a lot more narrative than I normally write, but I got carried away with it. 👍

My postnord app has advised me of an unknown airmail parcel registered as being in transit to me, and 'cause I know its my physical copy of @TanaPigeonWMG 's #MythicGME 2nd ed, I am getting more and more irrationally grumpy for each passing moment that it is not in my greedy little mitts. [Last solo spam for today! Just wanted to be all ready for #MythicGME play next time]

Marching order: Phrost (knight), Krow (ranger), Elferen (bard), Antari (druid), Nahisse (druid), Iambere (magic-user) and Thaeteron (level 0 human).

They take the dark root infested tunnel down into the heptagonal (7 sided) chamber with it's mud and stick animal effigies, illuminated by Iambere's lantern, and a torch that Krow handed to Thaeteron.

Starting a #soloRPG game using #MythicGME and #OSE (Old-School Essentials). Wanted a half-elf, so kept rolling on https://dndcharacter.com/ until I got the prerequisite stats. Used that random background, appearance, personality and misfortune, and Mythic for a name.

So, introducing Rae! Or Raeba Maferagul (Ray-ee-bah Mah-fer-ah-gool), a bloody and towering half-elven shipwright. Old-fashioned, a tad dishonest, and in a lot of debt. Good enough for a call to adventure!

I had my last session of this #StarsWithoutNumber #SoloRPG yesterday.

As I suspected there was heavy casualties. Lost my two favourite characters, although the memory core of the android XO was saved. Their sacrifice allowed some crew to escape and warn humanity of the extinction threat growing in the HD23753 system, and the real reason the FTL gates were left in systems across the galaxy.

And I finally got the context behind the #MythicGME world building answers I didn’t quite understand. 👍

I had the seed for a serialised storytelling universe for many months but haven’t been able to work on it beyond the general idea and concepts.

The blank page paralyses me. I knew I wanted to do something similar to X-Files and Warehouse 13 for RR, Watpadd, Kindle Vella, or some other serialisation platform. Short stories, each one a case file. That is all I had.

Enter #MythicGME 2e and its wonderful tables. Now, I got two investigators fleshed out and how they met.

I read the new edition of the #MythicGME (Game Master Emulator) in an afternoon. Been trying it with #FATE Condensed for #soloTTRPG. It's worked wonders so far.
