Good news, the #Sharp #MZ700 alps printer/plotter is working.🥳
Well, sort of. I still have to figure out what's going on with the left margin and why the first column is cut of.🤔

So I wanted to mount the replacement gears on the ALPS plotter of the #Sharp #MZ700, but it turns out these need to be pressed on.
I'll have to go to the hardware store tomorrow and find a clamp that I could use/mod.

So the plotter pens that I bought actually work.
But I have another problem, the plotter head's horizontal movement stopped to work.
Any ideas what might cause it?

New plotter pens for the #Sharp #MZ700 have arrived.
Hopefully these will work, I got them from a medical supply company.
