Też gdzieś mam w szufladzie. Najlepszy telefon.

Siedzę sobie w cziszy, pracuję i słyszę, że jakaś elektronika płacze o prąd.
Obejrzałem wszystko co leży dookoła - spoko, na kabelkach, naładowane.
A tu znów za pleców - jeeeeść…
Przeglądam karton ze starymi telefonami, a tam #N900 z 9% baterii płacze…

Dwa tygodnie temu podładowywałem stare telefony, żeby im bakterie nie zdechły i tego jednego zapomniałem wyłączyć.

The battery was completely dead and it took some time to get it charged up again, tried three cables, only one worked when it was completely dead.

@angelastella no creo que ese sea el problema, transmission-daemon es liviano.
Pero el #n900 es muy escueto, solo tiene 256mb de RAM y un arm single core del 2009. Debería andar igual, PERO el sistema #maemoleste esta muy verde y quizás también por ahí venga el problema.

Estuve probando usar el #N900 con #maemoleste para correr transmission, amule pero no le da el cuero.
Quizás si sigo en este rabbit hole le meta #postmarketos para seguir testeando

bueno, por ahora el mejor uso del #N900 con #MaemoLeste es en apps de terminal y el cliente de mail de nokia,que anda barbaro

he dejado andando el #n900 andando con el ultimo #maemo que tiene el kernel 5.1. pude hacer andar el mail, xmpp y ahora probando un cli de mastodon

As much as I love the #N900, in this case it's not really the smartphone itself I care about. Having access to the internal storage would be enough, honestly.

So I dug up my old #Nokia #N900 (aka the best mobile phone ever produced) and of course the battery is completely depleted, because (remember, this is the #IMStupid series) I left it in. So I plug it in the wall charger and to my surprise, the LED turns on, yellow —I remember the N900 being rather finnicky about charging though, and since it still doesn't boot a few seconds later, doubting my (colorblind) sight, I unplug it to plug it to connect it to my laptop.

Today's chapter in the #IMStupid series: I have a pretty distinct memory of having written things I can't find where they are supposed to be. Now, I may have simply dreamed up writing them, but there's also the possibility that I _did_ write them, but they could be somewhere else. And since my laptop's storage comes with me when I change laptop, the only other option is a different machine. Since this is something that I wrote (if I ever did) a few years ago, it might just be on … my old #N900
