Gone of the days of ‘functionality only’ in public spaces. Things are changing! And they’re not simply being built ‘fit for for purpose’, only.

I love how councils and cites are including creative and thought provoking designs to public amenities such as these park seats.

The top two (playing cards) were observed throughout central #Bendigo (#DjaDjaWurrung)#Australia during my visit last week and the bottom two flowing seats, today in #collingwood #melbourne (#Naarn).

I love them both!

I believe both are as functional as intended, albeit for a lazy kick-back kinda way in the case of those in Collingwood.
