To my delight there was fresh new snow and sunshine this morning. I thought days like this were done for the winter. I got to reshoot these and do it properly this time.
This is an outtake from today’s shoot. I think the N-1 looks kinda slick in it (with support rod removed in PS), maybe a bit cinematic even.

These were supposed to be shot with small aperture for the model to be all in focus. I messed up, depth of field too shallow, I can’t work with these.
The model looks kinda nice nevertheless, so I’ll just post these as they are. Failed but kinda cool.

A better look at the white N-1 Starfighter.
The name ”Royal Guardsman” just popped to my head from this photograph, it sounded like a title of a novel or something. I made a mock-up cover, the title fits.
The Royal Guardsman is the name of the white N-1, not a person. Or it could be a person, I really don’t know.

The Naboo N-1 Starfighter is an elegant design, it has a wonderful silhouette.
I built one after THAT episode of TBoBF but instead of making it similarly stripped to bare metallic bones I just made mine white. I like it white, it’s very clean.
