Sometimes, it's amazing what you can see from your own bedroom window.

As I opened the blinds this morning in #Fife, I was greeted by the sight of nacreous clouds, disappearing into the dawn.
Polar stratospheric clouds only form in the winter at altitudes of 15,000-25,000 m (49,000-82,000 ft) and usually much further north than in #Scotland.
I'll be waiting for sunset and hoping for good weather, to see if they persist!
