Hajime was left alone after Monokuma's appearance… at least he thought he was. Nagito was right by his side with a worried expression on his face.

"Hinata-kun?"
"Leave me alone…"

He didn't want Nagito to leave him alone and it was so strange that the other boy just took him in his arms.
He didn't understand how was it possible for Nagito to know what he was really feeling. He just sighed, hugging him back.

"Would you want me to stay with you this night?"
"…Yeah, please…"

Hajime's voice was just as weak as his body. Trust no one? It was making sense, but… this person was Nagito who pressed his head to his chest, trying to comfort him even if he himself couldn't stay calm.
Following Monokuma's instructions, they went to the hotel. Nagito didn't release Hajime's hand from the grip and entwined their fingers. Though Nagito didn't look healthy and strong, Hajime felt safe for some reason.

The atmosphere definitely didn't help them to feel any better and if not Nagito's poor stamina, they would probably be running like frightened rabbits. If Nagito was with him… he had to be strong.

Hajime found his cottage and they entered. He didn't mind sleeping together with Nagito, it was even comforting to thing there was someone thinking about him.
While they were lying under a blanket, just wearing their underwear, Nagito was stroking his hair to calm him down.

"Hinata-kun…"
"Komaeda…"

He didn't understand it, but they closed the distance between their faces and kissed. Their kiss was becoming more greedy every second, until both of them lost breathe and finished it.

"Goodnight, Hinata-kun…"
"Yeah, goodnight, Komaeda…"

It was an awkward moment, but it was enough for Hajime to understand their bond wasn't platonic. They were both attracting each other in sexual and romantic ways, what was embarrassing for Hajime to think about.

A Hajime-focused HinaKoma fic I started writing a few days ago. I decided to try to focus on Hajime because I find it easier for me to write Nagito-focused narration and, like, I shouldn't just write over and over the same perspective, I have to try different things as well.
The story contains post-chapter 1 spoilers. It's going to have a HinaKoma happy end. I need a fucking break from the canon events (I'm slowly playing SDR2 on mobile just to unlock Island Mode there and make Hajime dating Nagito).
