The founder of Nanbudo, Yoshinao Nanbu (#doshusoke #10dan) came to visit Finland in the end of 1970s', while he was living in Sweden. Today would have been his 80th birthday.

The essence of these #sevenforces #nanatsunochikara is to foster self-confidence.

I have been able to collect most of the older #karate books made by #nanbudoshu, from the early 1970s', and even been lucky enough to have gotten personal note from their author.
However, I am still missing the #kata #book, which I occationally try to search for...

Training can happen in other places, not just in the gym or school gymnasium where we are most often, but #training can take place inside a dungeon of #suomenlinna #helsinki or on top of a mountain in #slovenia.
