It was a pretty bad writing day even for a Monday. Lots of distruptions capped by a family member taking a tumble and needing my services as a former nurse. I wrote 2816 words today, which was enough to destroy 1 #nanogre and drop the HP of the other to 67. My own HP got dropped to 56. There are 22 goblins still hanging around. Hopefully I can pick up some of the slack tomorrow and finish off the second act of the WIP. #writing

NaNoWriMo has come to an end and so has our adventure. When we last heard from our warriors, they had killed the NaNorc leaders and emptied the nest. Gah-the-Elf and Prof-the-Cleric were headed into the woods to track down the last of their foes.

They spent the first couple of days chasing down NaNorcs that were already injured. This mop up operation was slow, but straightforward. /1

Gah-the-elf cautiously moves through the dense wood on her way back to the village. Prof-the-cleric must have been distracted by another evil curse again, but no one is stronger than Prof-the-Cleric so Gah is not worried. She just puts her 1642 words into the time-stasis bubble for Prof to use when she needs them.

Gah-the-elf is still trying to evade the trap that slows her down as she tries to follow Prof-the-Cleric into the woods. They need to hunt down the remaining Nanorcs and Gah hurls her 779 words at them, hoping that Prof-the-Cleric is safe and hasn't run into one of the dangerous Nanogres all by herself.

Our heroes have vanquished the Nanorcs! Yesterday, we went straight into the heart of the nest and killed 6, including the leaders.

Gah-the-Elf wonders if Prof-the-Cleric's head hurts as much as her own. Nevertheless, she made as many words as she could because she knows that the next few days will be difficult. Over the last two days, Gah-the-Elf unleashed a total of 4332 damage with her words. Prof-the-Cleric visited 1534 words of grief on our foes.

For the last week, our adventurers have been pushing straight into the heart of the Nanorc territory and resistance has been growing steadily. Yesterday, we tried a new tactic: exploring the edges of the territory and picking off more outposts.

Gah-the-Elf conjured 980 words and Prof-the-Cleric called up 549. A good day.

Our adventurers returned late last night to the Village of Grit. Gah-the-Elf put all her 2314 words into a slow-motion bubble to support the party.

Prof-the-Cleric needed the assist, as she was did ugly combat with ugly Nanorcs. Instead of dying properly, they crawled off into the woods and needed to be pursued. She dealt 584 damage with her words.
