In #nanogres I have 59 HP remaining. I'm facing 34 goblins and 2 ogres. One ogre has 68 HP and the other 100. I think I'm going to have to cash in some game gold to survive today. Each uninterrupted 25 minute writing streak vanquishes one goblin. 50 words written delivers 1 hit point on an ogre. Every 50 words I miss my word count goal by delivers 1 damage point to me. #amwriting

It was a pretty bad #writing day, even for a Monday. Lots of disruptions capped off with a tumble by a family member requiring my services as a former nurse. I only managed to write 2816 words today, which was enough to vanquish 1 of the #nanogres and drop the HP of the other to 67. My HP got dropped to 56. I managed 9 uninterrupted writing sprints, which means there are still 22 goblins hanging around. I'll try and pick up the slack tomorrow.

I'm blowing the dust off my old #nanogres game to try and cajole my ass into putting in the keyboard time.

goblins: 31
ogres: 2 (1 with 13 HP, the other with 100 HP)
HP: 69

25 uninterrupted minutes of writing time defeats one goblin. An interruption delivers 1 point of damage to me. 50 words = 1 hit/damage point. If I fail to write 833 words in a 25-minute sprint, then I open myself up to damage. The goal is to defeat the monsters while keeping my HP above 0.

@benevolentprof Gah-the-elf struts out of the inn, a new day, a new fight. She has to remind herself not to get too sure of herself because one of these #nanogres or nanorcs could hide behind the next tree and attack her unawares. She tries to remain modest but still... she proudly hurls her 2487 words into the fight, waiting for Prof-the-Cleric to transform them into magical missiles.

And then a messenger falcon arrives and informs him that his sister-in-law is in the hospital, and as a former healer, the family wants him to interpret arcane healing rituals and strange potions. The NaNogre smirks as Danny slinks away, sword at his side, after delivering only 1728 words of damage.
