I'd love to meet some folks who are also writing/drawing/making visual novels/story-based games!

I unfortunately learned about #NaNoRenO way too late to make the deadline for the game jam, but it did kick me into gear on making my first game - a sort of short prologue to a longer story I'd eventually like to tell.

But it's kinda lonely to make something without being able to chat about the process with anyone, so I'd love some company! Lemme know!

🐛And likely other minor changes and bug-fixes performed.

At current, it has three endings.

Furthermore, I've added two new convenience buttons, with tooltips: one to quit, and one to toggle the UI. (Bottom-left and bottom-right, respectively.)

* A working-title
* Support for (simple) music and UI sound (with stand-in audio)
* Game-flow now allows for quitting and restarting
* The main menu is functionally done, I think
* Options are now saved and loaded
* And a bit more writing!

There is of course still no proper art--hence for example the greyness of the menu.

* More writing, both new stanzas and the revision of old

Debating joining #nanoreno. I haven't done a game jam in ages but it'd be nice to write some music for something in my downtime right now and get out of this weird creative block...

I was invited by some friends to help plan and do the art for a #nanoreno game this year. The jam starts tomorrow, so I finished designing the characters.
