Zero Prostate Cancer #Run/Walk Napa Valley
Sat at 8:30AM - 10:30AM
FREE family friendly event to honor those affected by prostate cancer. There will be a 1mile walk, 5K run/walk and kids superhero dash. The event will end with vendors and breakfast!
Each year this race provides a grant to The Martin O'Neal Cancer Center at St Helena Hospital

This was opened next to the much older (1995) Léoville Las Cases that I posted on recently, but I don't think that is the only reason it was jarring on my palate. This is just so much riper, richer, jammier. It is more of a fruit bomb. I have kind of lost touch with Blankiet, but the older years I once bought seemed a bit more elegant. Each to his own, but I greatly preferred the focused Las Cases.

Gary's says gift cards can be redeemed in store right now until closure or online at garyswine.com. "Thank you for being part of our journey. We look forward to seeing you in the store in the next few weeks and continuing to serve you online."

My 1990 BMW e30 convertible under a native California oak, in front of a Napa vineyard, with golden hills in the background.
CA is "The Golden State" for our hills, which start the spring bright green, but turn golden in the summer dry season. Not for the gold rush.
