I followed quite a few reflections of other survivors to this type of abuse, which should be recognized as such, since highly manipulative personalities like malignant or perverse narcissists can cause massive and persistent psychological and emotional damage that also has, as a consequence, material repercussions on the healthy and productive conduct of our daily lives.

Ich bin so müde von Leuten, die verletzende Sprüche kloppen oder irgendwas, was man getan oder gesagt haben soll, in den Raum zu werfen und einen mit Selbstzweifeln und Rätselraten zurücklassen. Und sich am Ende an nichts erinnern wollen. Das ist psychische Folter, nicht mehr und nicht weniger.

Would like to follow un-normal people who are as inconsistent as I am.
One day post photos of cats, food, moss, next day rage against the government's herd immunity policy, be quiet and thoughtful the next. 
Sometimes I actually manage to say something insightful or funny.

Mostly I'm looking for a place where it's safe to be me until the fear which has ruled my life is gone. Then everywhere will be safe.

My abuser has passed and I am expected by family to "grow up" "move on" "get over it" "be there for others" being told "you are selfish"
He beat and raped and even in death I am the bad one.

The longer one stares into the face of evil, the less evil it appears. That’s bcuz familiarity fogs the vision. Discernment requires clarity. Clarity requires stepping back. Behavioral inconsistencies are most often only realized from a safe distance.

That person who’s nice to you but is cruel to others? That’s not a decent person.

Protect your energy. It’s ok to walk away.
