I found out I was Jewish 10 years ago and that my family had been lying to me about this for 30 years. Started cutting out family then, as it wasn’t the first major deception they’d inflicted on me. It makes this time of year so hard and the media doesn’t help at all, perpetuating unrealistic family stereotypes.

(I have a great therapist, who also has a who is deservedly on holiday for a few weeks.)

It’s ok if you don’t feel .
