I think drug legalization is a good thing, or at least decriminalization of their use.

But alas, while this sentiment has slowly grown over the last twenty or so years over here, a large majority thinks that penalizing/criminalizing users works.

Meanwhile, the number of drug related deaths are going up seemingly every year.

Tightening laws, hiring more cops and threatening drug users hasn't worked thus far and I don't think it ever will.

So when I got to the pharmacy (for the second time today, thanks “family” day🫠) I was greeted by this giant sign in the window (& again at the counter) that states the pharmacy keeps all narcotics in a time locked safe.
