Oh, lovely. Chronicles of #Narnia is getting a "reboot" on #Netflix. Probably means scrubbing all the religion out of it. I really don't much care for that aspect of the stories, but it's not Lewis without the Christianity.

@GramrgednAngel Yes i only discovered that in recent months [prolly in Masto, ha]. Struck me as somewhat ironic, given CSL's apparent latent if not actual racism [in various of the seven books, the enemies often were dark-skinned & wore various proto-Islamic clothing].

[fwiw] Only weeks ago i finished re-reading the Chronicles. I did so to see if they still captured & transported me now, as a many-decades-later surly grumpy cynical depressed #atheist adult. They absolutely did! 💜
