So weird / amazing looking at a video of a space craft that's looking at us....😍🤯😍🤯 #NASA_Artemis #NASA_Orion #space #nasa

#NASA_Orion y la misión #Artemis, ayer, en su 13º día pusieron la marca en la mayor distancia a la Tierra para una nave; 432.210,253 km y nos regaló estas dos joyas del sistema Tierra/Luna.
¡Espectacular!

This picture of Earth, while a very pretty pale blue dot, was not what I was expecting for the on-camera image for reacquisition of signal for the close lunar flyby. I was expecting an Apollo-esque lunar surface vista given the hype from #NASA_Orion . Perhaps the camera couldn’t be reoriented and post-AoS moon images were never the plan but the miss and failure to manage expectations are unfortunately on-brand for NASA. At least the inbound images were great.
Screenshot of Orion, Moon and Earth (“Earthset”!) about a minute before LOS with #NASA_Orion.
