An image taken on Mars by NASA's Ingenuity Mars Helicopter during the rotorcraft’s 51st flight on April 22, 2023, the 772nd Martian day, or sol, of the rover’s mission. You can just see NASA’s Perseverance Mars rover way off in the distance in the top left of the image.

Quelle perspective ! L'hélicoptère 🚁, à ~10m de haut, photographie le rover garé devant le cratère Belva, de 900 m de diamètre. L'ombre d'Ingenuity est visible au sol.

THIS IS FANTASTIC: The Global CTX Mosaic of . ✨🔴✨ bit.ly/MarsCTX

"The Bruce Murray Laboratory for Planetary Visualization has completed a 5.7 terapixel mosaic of the surface of Mars rendered at 5.0 m/px. Each pixel in the mosaic is about the size of a typical parking space, providing unprecedented resolution of the martian surface at the global scale."

So proud to be starting my fifth year as a Solar System Ambassador. We have so many amazing space missions currently ongoing or will be launching that I am excited to talk about this year. Thanks to NASA/JPL and all the other ambassadors for their dedication and support in this program.

I finished a few 3D projects demonstrating the properties of stars and their distances which will aid my upcoming Solar System Ambassador presentations. When we look at the canvas of the night sky, we can perceive the colors of stars but not their size or distance. These models help us better understand challenging astronomy concepts and compliments learning for the visually impaired.

We're not just about awesome space robots; 's incredible scientists are also making huge strides in quantum optics. Writing this feature about the project almost broke my brain, but what an incredible technology... and it's not sci-fi. This is happening NOW: jpl.nasa.gov/news/nasas-quantu

This was a fascinating news feature to work on and it emphasizes the need of further research into Venus. Using archived mission observations, a new study suggests the planet's lithosphere may be "squishy", causing regional resurfacing.

"For so long we’ve been locked into this idea that ' lithosphere is stagnant and thick, but our view is now evolving.” - Sue Smrekar, study lead and mission principal investigator.

Just subscribed to “The Last Soviet,” an incredible podcast about the cosmonaut stranded on the USSR’s space station at the end of the Cold War for almost a year. Via my wife pca.st/podcast/02ca2cf0-8a08-0

I never get tired of writing about the incredible work by scientists who ping radar off nearby space rocks. The science that is gained from planetary radar is 🔥 And ranging measurements can help determine asteroids' orbit for decades, or centuries into the future jpl.nasa.gov/news/nasas-planet

Getting in that at today. Peering down into the clean rooms at the Spacecraft Assembly Facility looking at and as well as visiting my ‘old friend’ the hand-color first image of Mars from Mariner 4.

A subject that sorely merits real-world study is the chemical composition and source-strength of to the from in the CONUS, especially the arid West. Yes (thank you ), but there are likely myriad nasty toxics. And communities marinading in such plumes. Need flux towers, the works. Garden variety conventional monitoring for odor complaints doesn't cut it.

Status update for : Our little spacecraft is happy and healthy, though three of its thrusters are not providing as much oomph as expected. The mission team is now modifying their plans to get the small satellite into its planned near-rectilinear halo orbit. More: jpl.nasa.gov/news/nasas-lunar-
