@nasa
I have participated in several #NASAsocial events & highly recommend applying! It would be great to see some folks from the #Fediverse actively contributing.

I don't have words for this moment...I just got to meet the crew of #ArtemisII
Sitting in this room was one of the most humbling experiences of my whole life. Period.
Five months ago, I was banned from my main social media platform that I hoped to use to promote NASA/JPL and its space missions, as well as my recently published book. Thanks to Nick Weig for composing this story and highlighting how good people with good intentions have been banned from that "other" social media platform. #NASA #jameswebbspacetelescope #Artemis #NASASocial https://cbs2iowa.com/news/local/local-nasa-ambassador-kicked-off-of-twitter-months-ago-still-doesnt-know-why

On Monday, April 3, NASA will announce the four Artemis II astronauts who will fly around the Moon in 2024. Administrator Bill Nelson said during his annual “State of NASA” address, “Four astronauts, three from America and one from Canada, will fly around the moon.” These are the NASA astronauts currently training for the Artemis II and III flights. So who are your three American picks? #Artemis #NASASocial #WeAreGoing

NASA confirmed earlier this week that the human-rated Artemis I Space Launch System (SLS) and Orion spacecraft met or exceeded their flight test objectives. Engineers extensively poured over gigabytes of launch, flight, and recovery data, strongly confirming and boosting confidence the agency is ready to fly astronaut crews to the Moon. This now sets the stage to ready Artemis II for a crewed flight in late 2024 (November). #WeAreGoing #Artemis #NASASocial

@USelaine I ran most of my twitter lists (I keep em prolifically) through fedifinder, but (one of the chores) there's a thing I can do w fedifinder's I'm going to break out the 🐦 list exports.
Maybe can do a test of CW with #NASASocial ht and list a few people who attended as a test.
+1 Masto won't alert all tagged people when someone ⭐ a post they're @-ed in.
?? Would people who see and do a reply all create too much noise? How to be polite about it?
My green nails were indeed lucky to get #Artemis to the moon. I'm glad to get back to my more typical burgundy. #NASASocial #Artemis1

Interested in how many cameras are on the #Artemis 1 Orion? Here's a neat NASA write-up on that.

I'm excited for the FHD (maybe 4k?) video we'll get when our proxies go back to the moon and land again. #NASASocial #Space #Artemis1 (https://techlifeweb.com/static/Note-2211211642.html)
Beautiful views of the boosters separating from the core stage of the SLS rocket for #Artemis 1. #NASASocial https://images-assets.nasa.gov/video/Artemis%20I%20-%20Rocket%20Camera%20Footage/Artemis%20I%20-%20Rocket%20Camera%20Footage~large.mp4
Here is the moon (bright, upper part of the picture) and #Artemis 1 (lower left) after solid rocket booster separation burning the core stage fuel to reach it's destination. It was a beautiful launch, viewing at the NASA Kennedy Turn Basin dock with #NASASocial. #nasamoonsnap

Here is #Artemis 1 right before the scheduled hold at T-10 minutes. There were so many folks at Kennedy Space Center! And this launch, no one was disappointed. #NASASocial #Artemis1

The #Artemis 1 #NASASocial team was fortunate to receive briefings from three current astronauts prior to the launch. Doug Wheelock, Christina Koch and Stan Love. Thanks for taking the time to share the Artemis launch with us.
#Artemis 1 waiting solemnly on
NASA Kennedy Space Center Pad 39B, with it's Mobile Launcher, ready to depart to the moon last Wednesday. All constraints from launch cleared, she was eager to go. And go she did, very quickly, the biggest rocket ever launched. #NASASocial
A picture of the moon right before #Artemis 1 launched last Wednesday morning. She was waiting patiently for a visit from

The night #Artemis I launched to the moon, you could see the rainbow colors and sounds coming from Pad 39A where #SpaceX was working. This view is from the dock of the NASA Kennedy Turn Basin (where heavy loads come in by ship) where #NASASocial watched from. #Artemis1

This is a shoutout to all my #NASASocial friends at the #Artemis I launch - we were persistent and it payed off with the best seats on the planet.
