Just read WALKING ON COWRIE SHELLS by #NanaNkweti (an amazing short story collection) and STONE BLIND by #NatalieHaynes (a retelling of the Medusa myth) this weekend. Highly, highly recommend both. Both with compelling prose (Nkweti's ability to write distinctive narrators for each story and Haynes' fresh look at Greek mythology, especially with Athena).
