@gojonnes It only takes ONE teacher during the K thru 12 years to kill a child’s scientific curiosity.

I did #NationalChemistryWeek demos to a 3rd grade class at a very well-regarded school. The kids were just as #CarlSagan described, as they always are. The mid-career teacher sat at her desk the whole time, and when I thanked her as I was leaving she said “I’m glad someone enjoys that stuff.”
