Listening to the desperate news from our NHS it seems obvious to me that the increase in National Insurance needs to be brought back and the money used to fund social care, as promised by Johnson.
The fault for the current crisis is clearly due to Truss cancelling that tax increase and Sunak choosing not to reinstate it.
I also have a problem with Johnson being persuaded to divert that NI tax to the NHS instead of social care.
