Samuel Untermyer would open his gardens to the public every week. The amphitheater was the venue for many public performances by noted artists and performers, such as Isabella Duncan.
Untermyer Park and Gardens are owned by the City of Yonkers, NY. The park is open to the public. Admission is free.
