I cannot let this one gallop past me without climbing aboard.
Of course I mean in the mystical sense, the elegant equine with the scintillating spiral spike atop their forehead, the faithful forever friend to all lonely maidens.
There is also a link to SciFi, courtesy of Blade Runner, the original, where the origami unicorn reveals the truth, that every replicant is really in search of not just life, but freedom.
