Most characters in Musqueam language's - #hən̓q̓əmin̓əm̓ - pronounced HUN-kuh-mee-num - aren't available on English language keyboard.
The new font is also capable of #typesetting the language of the #Syilx, a #FirstNation located in the same area as UBC's #Okanagan campus

FEMA hired a California firm to translate emergency aid applications into Alaska Native languages. It did not go well.
' “Tomorrow he will go hunting very early, and will (bring) nothing,” read one passage....
“Your husband is a polar bear, skinny,” another said.
Yet another was written entirely in Inuktitut, an Indigenous language spoken in northern Canada, far from Alaska. '
