Is #NativeScript actually still a thing, or is someone using that to develop mobile apps? I just saw that the Hamburger Bücherhallen app was developed with it. The reviews of the app are not that good.

Lately I've also seen some #PWA's that are really good. For example the #lemmy client Voyager. Now that might be an alternative for some apps as well. Or rather something like Apache #Cordova?

I feel like a killjoy but based on my experience with such frameworks, I'd kinda encourage you not to. For *very* simple apps ok maybe they have some utility, but every time I use one (also add Appcelerator Titanium & Ionic to this list) I end up being constrained by limiting / buggy functionality and thin wrappers around native code.

I need to find an open-source project in #NativeScript to collaborate with.

devs: small reminder to be really skeptical of cross-platform compilation software.
