I have Seek and Merlin Bird ID in my phone. Seek is for identification of plants, fungi, insects, and some animals. Merlin is for identification of birds, including analyzing spectrograms of bird calls.
Now I just need something for identifying mineralsโฆ it really is like having a tricorder in your pocket.

Love being able to grab snacks from the garden! No chems on this land means a safe assortment of forageable food ready to eat when ripe.
Passionflower fruit, lambsquarter, and mint augmenting yogurt, meat/cheese rolls, and water. Red clover ๐ธ tea with lemon and honey is pleasant as well.
Note: always positively verify the plant type and it's edible parts before harvesting. There are many lookalikes๐ฑ

โป๏ธ Mulch, compost, add layers, but unless you have SERIOUSLY compacted soil, don't till please. It's for the soil's sake and for the regeneration of it's biosphere that we've destroyed. โป๏ธ

So insanely tired. 3 holes were root arranged & patched yesterday.
3 holes 30" deep by 18" wide.
I'm short. My arms are short. This makes for a very long time of laying on the ground doing push-ups & supermans as I patch roots to the sides of the holes using the clay & organic matter removed while digging.
10 hours of that.
Now all 8 holes are finished & ready for concrete pouring. Hopefully, I've managed to save this tree from too much harm by doing this by hand.
