@ash I did this a while ago when I had a backyard. I let the grass grow long in most areas of the backyard. Unfortunately, in the front my neighbour was less than agreeable to let it grow beyond effectively a buzzcut...

But I will say, in the backyard, I did notice more bugs and insects in and around the general unmowed area. I'm not sure if it helped or hindered anything, but, it was nice. #gardening #NaturalLawns #landscaping
