This is good news indeed.
Now if we could just persuade #India to continue the #NaturalRegeneration along the whole stretch of its #Himalayan foothills which constitute the Indo-Nepal border.

Nepal reinstating #forests, 26% in 1992 to 45% in 2016, mainly through local people managing #NaturalRegeneration. Fortunately they still had the seed and contact with existing forest to help, so most action was controlling grazing and cutting.
