Loved this #NurseLog beside the #creek - nursing/feeding 2 young #trees that are growing out of it. Nurse logs are an important part of a #forest #ecosystem - #nature wastes nothing.

The soft morning light over Glenwood Farm on Mayne Island with a hint of Mount Baker across the Salish Sea at just before 9:00 am this morning. I was reference gathering and thought you might enjoy it. It is about a 40 minutes hike up the hill through the trees to get to this prize. I have painted this view before and likely will again.
