Natzweiler-Struthof was a Nazi concentration camp (1941-1944) in today‘s french Alsace. It was deepest winter when I visited this place almost ten years ago. A heavy blanket of snow enveloped the whole area in reverent silence. This is the last photo I took before I left, it shows the border fence that surrounds the whole place.
