Ah… Another day, another #NBN #outage. Looks like it’s affecting “The Big Three” capitals and their surrounding areas, too. Remind me again how it is even legal that critical infrastructure - like a national #broadband network - is allowed to have a complete failure every other night and / or every time there’s a tiny bit of bad weather? Could you imagine the repercussions for their garbage network, if #NBNCo had to answer to shareholders, instead of the #Australian tax-payer? | #Australia

14 hours without landline internet. This sucks for a person that normally does game streaming.

The only internet that works is from my phone, but because I live in a small town in Australia, the mobile signal is terrible too.

What's worse is, it seems the NBN outage is at least half of town. (Finley, NSW, Australia), as I've heard from multiple people today that also have no internet.

This is the first outage I've had since getting the NBN years ago, so, so far it's better than the old ADSL system.

Quality install, NBN. To fit new fibre Maddison box, unscrew old box from wall, expose the cavity to the wall, leave the old box unlocked, and the new one, and don’t even put the fibre guard in place *sigh*

Hope it survives 3 weeks to internal Install works.

Oh look, the #NBN is down again! Remind me why we quite literally spent tens of billions of dollars on a “next-generation” #broadband network that is of poor quality, unreliable, uses outdated technology and has little room for future-proofing? Thankfully, out #5G network has already been far more reliable and serves as a superior backup network… It’s only a matter of time until 5G is a finally viable alternative (to the NBN), too! 😉 #Australia #NBNCo
