Constantly increasing our climate ambition through enhanced #NDCs is the backbone of the #ParisAgreement. Today I announced an additional support for the NDC-Partnership framework of 32.7 Mio € specifically for Long Term Strategies and enhanced NDCs.

Interesting #UNDP article on #ClimateChangeAdaptation (#CCA):

CCA is often the main #ClimateChange priority for #DevelopingCountries. Integrating CCA in the #NDCs takes time, but finance is a primary concern for all countries. An estimated 85-90% of the #Paris goals need to be funded by #PrivateSector including #adaptation, which has less attractive investment opportunities than #mitigation. It is challenging to identify opportunities that appeal to the private sector.
