One of the worst days of my life. My best friend, my 15 year old #JackRussell, crossed the rainbow bridge today, with very little time for us to process what was happening & gather family. It's a day you dread from the moment you first bring yr pet home, even if that day is hopefully many yrs away. I kept my promise to stay with him to the end, but the images in my mind of those last moments will haunt me. I'm numb, exhausted & broken tonight.😢
