Some more of my 3 inch #pokemon #embroidery taken on trips into the wild. My Hoothoot and Pumpkaboo were fab to take out to the local park. Found lots of good places to hide Hoothoot in trees and Pumpkaboo in the undergrowth.

“Hybrid” 2020
‘Atlantis mermaid fossil’ wool roving, air dry clay, polymer clay, wire, pvc fabric human hair.
Pencil drawing on naturally stained paper.
During lockdown, Cross Street Arts organised fortnightly online shows with different themes. For hybrid, I wanted to depict a human who had evolved to live underwater. I was inspired by the Fijian mermaid & also that episode of Futurama where they find the lost city of Atlanta😁
