Basic repertoire of stitches: stem, satin, padded satin, chain, French knots, split. Quite pleased with it. Traveling needlework progress. I'm not used to hoop embroidery and I have to keep re-tensioning the fabric to keep it taut.

Original is an "Amelia Bedelia" picture laser printed in monochrome on Sulky Sticky Fabri-Solvy which was dissolved off after the outlines were stitched.

This will be an appliqué medallion on a project and tool keeper.

Needlework gives me a way to be present in company or in transit without fiddling with my phone.
