Currently testing replaced set of servos in #nefive's elbows, much lower temperatures and so far so good!

#nefive can now pat himself on the back! Currently all the control is via a PC it's hooked up to, will be migrating that on to the robot once I receive the voltage regulators I need.

Massive update to #nefive! His old arm on the left, new arm on the right. Almost the same dimensions but with an extra degree of freedom and ROBOTIS Dynamixels throughout! So incredibly happy with how this is coming together! #robotics #3dprinting

I've been slowly working on a new design for #nefive's arms, I've just got the new shoulder mechanism done! A fair amount more to do, this is a very promising start though :)

I've been struggling to get my robotics projects back on track, me tal health is all over the place of late, but today I managed to get the 5v Dynamixel servos configured for #nefive. These are for the hand and wrists, I have some 12v versions for the upper arm and shoulders

A bit of an intro, I'm a #robotics engineer but dabble in many things. #programming, #music occasionally, always making something! This is my robot #nefive, originally built for #PiWars, but has a life of his own now.
