Current situation at Page and Gough. (actually day 2) There is a detour sign at Octavia but we aren't sure if it is a detour to no where or Grove? Either way it is a mess out there with active transpo users depending on @pageslowstreet for safe passage.

Great turnout today for our 8th Ave Neighborway ride. NBC Bay Area interviewed a few parents and covered the start of the ride from Mountain Lake Park. (will be on one their broadcasts this evening) #slowstreets #neighborway #openstreets

One of the main obstacles (literally & figuratively) of an 8th Ave Neighborway is the Safeway loading dock. Holding up the 44 is not ok. Also, the size of Safeway trucks on residential streets need to be in compliance. We've heard from families that the cross walk is completely blocked by the trucks w/ no detour for seniors & other pedestrians. Safeway continues to shrug their shoulders when questioned by neighbors & elected officials. #neighborway #activetransportation #UrbanMobility
