Just learned another reason to hate #wasps. In the #NelsonLakes region on the #SouthIsland, these nasty little bugger are killing #HoneyDew bugs. The native birds rely on the sugary sap the bugs secrete (out their butts!). The wasps eat the sap AND kill the little guys. 😡

FYI: the wasps are NOT native. They’re introduced. 🤬
