Finally made it to DIA Beacon! What a contrast from MOMA- spacious and artist centric, the writing cards gave many of the minimalist and conceptual pieces more meaning. What a collection! Sure the Dan Flavin work was neat- but to walk through a career spanning Chamberlain junkyard, a neighborhood of Serra's and a loft of Bourgeois was amazing! The tours are unique and recommended. I loved the ritualistic and gestural sculptures of Senga Nengudi!
