Preview of a script I've been working on, based on Phags-pa and hangul, inspired by the theory that hangul was at least partially based on Phags-pa. I eventually intend it to be suitable for writing Korean, Japanese, Mandarin and English- at the very least. #neography #kr #jp #en #zh

He gives some background on what might influence a writing system (i.e. geography, economics, political infrastructure et al). It has definitely given me ideas to chew on.

Here is a comparison between day one (broad nib) vs now (brush tip). They both say the same thing: #Ngezhtulkβthe writing system for #Dhakhsh. The one on the right was a pure abjad, and the left is an alphabet. I wanted to show how even an invented writing system can evolve.
