It also seems like they're transitioning the site to the mobile-friendly and the new pages look pretty good IMO, though a lot of the pages haven't been transitioned yet and the back and forth between the old and new styles can be jarring, especially on a mobile device.

I ended up making a new #Neopets account (my old one was lost to time many years ago), and the site is in an interesting state. A lot of it is extremely similar to what I remember, they even have some of the old Flash games in a semi-functional state via Ruffle.

For some reason I'm feeling some nostalgia for #Neopets recently. Them's some good childhood memories right there. My impression is that the site still exists but is significantly different from how it was back in the day. Anyone still into Neopets?

I'd not really heard anything about #Neopets since shortly after the announcement of NFTs a while back when I re-dropped the game after laughing at the bullshit.

Today I see a Kira video which mentions the NFT project ending. I see in the comments that the site is actually making a real good turn instead of languishing like it has been for years. Seems the head of the NFT project bought the whole company, but is dropping the NFTs.
